I woke up and started typing around on the computer then Jasmine comes downstairs and starts pinching me. Not mean hurty pinches, but more like she was testing the thickness of meat and sizing me up for some cannibalistic feast. I just kind of looked at her. She said something like "All those vibrant green shirts you have" and then probably said something else, but as the epiphany came to me I suddenly thought about leprechauns.

p.s. no leprechauns were found in the backyard.

Margie Slack who, of course, is a well known hippie music artist from the late 60's and who still has not dropped dead gave birth to a tiny girl in the mid-80's.

Margie turned out to be a terrible mom and much to the surprise of everyone hired a young mother walrus to take care of her neglected daughter. Luckily, the mother walrus just weened her scary little walri off the teat and was ready for a new challenge.

Although, indeed a peculiar move, the story of a walrus taking care of a young girl did not even make a single headline. This could be due to the fact that the very same week the most-time-spent-on-a-unicycle record was broken by ice cream mogul Pierre Jackson. Every eye was glued to the TV set and as it cast a warm glow on America they shoveled pounds and pounds of rocky road into their mouths.

The young girl grew up into a woman and is now working at OceanLand as a server in a restaurant near the "Cuttlefish Experience". Let us wish her well on her way through ballet school.

Megacon and such!

Hi all!

Just this last weekend we were at Megacon. It was a pretty good weekend for us and as usual it is always nice to meet lotsa fans and people watch.

This year we had smallgirl come and stay with us since she was attending the convention also. She was at the artist alley section right next to tigerpixieart. I'm sure they chatted about all sorts of dorky things.

Lou Ferrigno wasn't there and there weren't any other "celebrities" I was interested in seeing really.

Jasmine's mom and Stepdad are visiting tomorrow and staying with us til Saturday. Should be fun =)

I have had a cough ever since I left Kansas City and I just couldn't get rid of it. I decide to go to this place called the "Minute Clinic" at a local CVS pharmacy. A Nurse practitioner examined me and my symptoms I have bronchitis and an ear infection!!

Now I have meds and stuff so hopefully I'll get off this yuck.

Central Florida had a "freeze" last night. Basically at about 3:00amish it touched 32 degrees and then bounced up again about 6:30amish.

The radio people seemed frantic and the TV news advised us not to have any skin exposed while outside. There was talk of snow in a county just north of us. The gym I was so worried about being overcrowded had half the usual crowd and all because of a cold snap.

Michigan would kill to have this weather now.

Florida is nutters.

I fear tomorrow for one special reason. The gym will be full with crazy New Years Resolutioners! They will be doing strange awkward things with free-weights, using their arms on the leg machines and be wearing all sorts of Nike gear.

I just got back from Sweeney Todd. I liked it! I used my AMC gift card!! Thank you, Aunt Jean =)

It is kinda like a cross between "The Crow", "The Count of Monte Cristo" and a little bit of singing & blood thrown in.

Last night we watched "Skinwalkers" which wasn't good enough to enjoy or bad enough to make fun of.

December was a busy month for me. As most of you know I am Jasmine's monkey and December is the month where she makes me dance the most. In the end, I think everyone received their packages and all were happy in time for Christmas!

The last week of December was spent with our family in Kansas City with various gift exchanges and way too much food.

I was able to spend lots of time with nieces and nephew. I taught Cielo how to play checkers and use a basic number line. Chris and I took Theo to see "The Waterhorse" it amused Theo slightly, but kind of lost him during the more dialoguey parts. Theo and Ellie also took turns beating me up and pummeling me. They would kick, punch, sit and do everything in their power to injure me. It was fun =)

It snowed a lot while we were there (it has been a long time since I have actually experienced snow). So we went sledding, had spontaneous snowball fights and built a snowman.

The sledding was a bunch of fun!! First we went to 3 stores and all the sleds were sold out. The we remembered that about 7 years ago we bought sleds and left them at Jasmine's Dads house, so we got 'em. We had two types of sleds: a disc and a normalish plastic sled. We found this steep hill by this Jewish temple and we were off. We kept flipping over and getting faces full of snow. It was pretty funny =)

We went to the Nelson-Atkins museum of Art and ate at the pretty little inside courtyard. They put up a new expansion to the Nelson and it was pretty interesting. I often look at the frames as much or even more than the art itself. So many pretty pieces have crappy frames.

The night before we left we watched UFC and drank beer and stuff =)

Now I am getting ready for this New Year I guess...

I have been to the post office so much lately. ::whimper::

So much so that they hand me over the key that makes the gate open and close. My job the other day was to let people out by opening the gate, but not let other people in 'cause it was past 4:30.

"Sorry, we're closed" I would say.

"Do you work here?", they ask.

"No, I just live here. Gonna get me a cot set up in here soon I s'pose"

Other than that I am all caught up on the "new" Dr. Who series! Yay, but yet boo since I have to wait for more.

I have been playing SUPER PAPER MARIO and it rocks!! My friend Brian just got SUPER MARIO GALAXY and it is powerful pretty!

Thanksgiving is coming and then my birthday!!! I love my birthday!! Then Christmas....YAYYYY I'm gonna make some tasty Rum nog!!

I'm going to be Luigi (of Super Mario Bros. fame) for halloween.

Brian foxmagic (who will be Mario) and I are going mad and are doing up the outside of his house and lawn in Super Mario style.

There will be goombas, koopas, mushrooms, bricks and ? boxes!! All set to wonderful Mario music!!

Wish us luck since we are pretty much putting this all together ourselves.

I will do my best to get pictures!!

Mickey's "Not so Scary" Halloween Party!!

Jasmine and I went to Mickey's Halloween Party on Sunday!

It was so cute and fun! So many people were dressed up. Sooooo many pirates!!

The parade was very cool especially the pirate part. Jack Sparrow had his very own ship!

We also went on the new and improved Haunted Mansion! No spoilers here, but it looked great =)

There were dance parties all over the place and that all was very strange, but I did happen to shake a little leg when passing by ;)

The fireworks were so pretty and so very Halloween themed all in conjunction with neat things projected onto the castle.

It was a fun night out.

FaerieCon and being back home!

About a week ago we got back from FaerieCon. Jasmine and I had a great show and are already signed up for next year. It was very interesting to be at a convention's maiden voyage. So many guests and staff had different ideas of what they will do different in the future and what was good about the present.

We really really liked all the guests and vendors. This was not a very grumpy convention at all. There were Faerie people everywhere and it gave the show a fun ethereal quality in the very urban setting of Philadelphia.

Wendy waltzingdog was there with her hubby Ken (a very cool guy). She is always so friendly and passes out hugs. She is the type of person I don't mind hugging me, not like a weird creepy relative. Does that make sense?? LOL!

Jilliane malikasaghir and Brad came to visit us on Saturday with special guest star RUTHIE! I have grown very fond of her and ever since I found out that she was going to visit us a FaerieCon I said that she was who I was looking most forward to seeing there. She gave me a hug and I stole a little slobbery kiss, hehe!

There were so many people there that I met and they are all collected in my whirlwind jar that I call my brain.

I did meet a real life Green Man wildwose. I think he may be a bit nutters, but he and his folk gave our booth a blessing in the form of magic acorns, hehe!

It was also very nice to meet Drew and Be of http://idobelieve.co.uk/ . Drew and I chatted about sci fi and comics. He and I seem to have similar interests and that was fun =)

Unfortunately, I only got one workout in during that whole convention time, but I am trying not to beat myself up about since I have been hitting the gym superhard lately as per normal, YAY! Oh yeah....!!: I earned enough at the convention to buy some more supplements (I get a percentage of the matted things sold and sometimes Jasmine will throw in a bonus if we do really well...and we did, hehe!) I usually just do creatine and protein powder (the very basics), but now I have the whole BSN mass stack! YAY!!

I'm doing my best to catch up on Heroes, foxmagic and I watched the last two episodes and we will try to watch the latest one when we both have time.

We are here!

Uggh..what a trip! Yesterday I wasn't at all in the mood for driving, but I did and we coasted into Philadelphia about 7ish last night. I went through traffic jams the likes I have never seen (while passing D.C. and Baltimore).

I had to look for a place to park because my van is too tall for the clearance in our parking garage. The room is pretty good (we got a junior suite with two TVs).

We have found 12, yes TWELVE vegetarian Asian restaurants within a few blocks of our hotel.

Today we have to unload our stuff!
